Fog hits most of Britain

It was very foggy today across most of Britain. Visibility was no more than 100-200 yards all day. Strange, it's usually only this bad when there's a meteor shower. Despite living in the middle of a city there are still plenty of trees and parks. The trees in particular looked interesting against the foggy sky.

I took another snap during the early evening, about 6pm, when the darkness made the fog seem almost like a blanket of cotton wool had descended and covered everything. This picture shows two silhouetted figures in the distance walking through what almost looks like a snowy landscape.

Yup, Autumn's almost through and it'll soon be Winter.
